Final Reflection

Creating my ePortfolio have helped me to understand the course clearly without any problem at all, and I learned different things in many various i will be benefited from and this course was actually i had a lot of fun doing it, sport and leisure didn't have much meaning in the past, and now that i learned about them i can fully understand their true meaning and value. First thing we done was the MOOC and to me learning about how to be a successful leader and what the requirements for it is really helpful in my daily life, secondary the presentation about Seoul which has refreshed my memories and also I learned more about the city while search the web, moreover the case study which my group And agreed to go to the heritage club which have many branches in the Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Alain their job is to ensure that our tradition and heritage will not fade away and not to be forgot and also it also counts as tourist attractions destination I learned from it the important of a heritage and tradition and lastly I done the final project with Mr.Saeed Ahmed about I was pearl diving and diving for fishing is a source for food and money to become now a sport and a way to enjoy great time with other this course have taught me a lot and I hope to do similar course again in the future

I would like to speak about pearl diving and dishing in are elders time in this report about the difference between the past and present concerning the sport and leisure, what was it like in the past and how does it change, improved or did it completely gone from their era. also the previous generation our fathers and elders and what they do in their favorite thing in general, when they are free time how they fill their time, that's why I interviewed Saeed Ahmed who is 52 years old to tell me what's the different in his point of view the time change and what the activities in their time from my time now.

To begin with Mr.Saeed spook about their time, and does it change and some still the same till now from their time, he spoke about how they went to the sea for food and pearls how they supply their equipment from India, their reviewed each part on its own and assembled it to make the net which called ( gasil ) and now they get it from japan ready to go.

In the past, the string are gathered then they create the fishing net with it, with the development of the industry have changed the profession, and has become limited to only tissue instead of the entire net manufacturing. However, this industrial progress has become a disaster for the sea and became a spinning yarns made court capable of sweeping the sea beyond a shadow of Fisheries to grow. And with different kind of fishing net and many to create them, each type have his own purpose.

Also Mr.Saeed has spooked and diving for either for fishing or for pearls in their day and how they now became a sport for some and for others it some kind of a hobby and they're a purpose for it and it,s to keep these kind traditions alive and not to be forgotten in the past their used to do it in order to live and there were go to the sea for months to supply their family with food and some die in the process, now a day fishing is treated as a sport and make Competitions revive are past in special days yearly like Dalma fishing contest.

Moreover diving searching for pearl were considered important for their business, it was a way to earn money since the spot was famous for all kind of business it was ‏ a profitable way, and the earning was amazing, since the pearl that was brought was natural, but that changed now since the industrial pearl were introduced, the marketing was going down for the natural pearls since the people have gone for the industrials ones inserted. Pearl diving is no more and actually Extinct now.

Finally, as a summary for my report diving in the past is considered a way to each food, and for business alike, now it no longer needed and it now considered as a hobby and sport with contest yearly to make sure not to forget our past the searching for pearl is just a memory now, It will not be forgotten, and for the fishing purpose there is no need for any more, now it a hobby with some clubs have it to remind us about our past.

the heritage club which located in general has multiple branches across the UAE. it a club which introduce the tourists to the UAE culture, tradition and customs, it has many facilities and activities like a castle, old housesand  equipment which they use in their daily life, the houses of the people used to live at and do they used to travel and how they welcome their guests.

leadership is essential in a team and it's important in every organization and of course in sport it's essential in many other types of sport like football, basketball, and many others. the videos speaks about how a leader must be, the president of the Belgium hockey federation Mr. Marc Coudron says the key of investment is sure to work with the best people, also a high performance is a very good example about the topic of leadership in sport the videos are saying and explaining how sport is influenced by leadership is in general leadership mean leading a group of people organization to have action and to have the ability to do the good leader is the one with abilities to lead the organization through hard and easy obstacles.

There is three organization that were explained there is a simple machine, professional they use leadership to guide the athletes to victory and to bring the full potential  of his group and have a future vision to draw there in the time of need.

In my opinion the leadership course that I watched was a great experience and I learned some useful skills that I might get benefit from in the future, but I was hoping that it would explain more about it if it would explain more about speaking deeply and be more specific information about the connection of the leadership and sport but on the other hand it was excellent for an introduction to attract the viewer to the topic I learned how to communicate to the group I'm leading and how to support it in many different ways. It was at a professional level sure. To conclude the course that I took overall has interested me and I got a lot of knowledge from it.
